Zolla is such a loving girl who longs for affection. If she could sit on your lap or next to you on the couch all day, she most definitely would. Zolla was rescued a day after giving birth to 10 puppies. She was starving and would have never been able to feed them. Her eyes say “thank you for saving me and my babies!” Zolla is friendly with the dogs and cats in her foster home and she also loves kids. She gets very excited with tail wags when she sees anyone with a friendly face that might give her some attention. She is very food motivated and responds well to training. She would be a very loyal companion for any family. She deserves a chance at a happily ever after!

If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with many of our adoptable dogs there.
Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day!
*Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.*
**All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.
