Hershey – Hershey is a pretty girl, small in stature, brown with black accents in her stripes, and a tell-tale remnant of orange from her father on her feet! She comes from a very loving home with siblings and cousins to play with. She is always around at dinner time and loves treats. Her personality is on the shy side. She is not a lap kitty and always looks for the exit when you approach. She doesn’t hide yet is wary of people. She plays very well with her family. She is about 4 months old.

Go meet their pets

Every Saturday (except holiday weekends) we have adoptable cats at Petco on 72nd and Dodge in Omaha from 11am-3pm. Adoptable cats also live in cages there and are available during Petco's regular business hours. We also have cats ready for adoption at Petsmart in Council Bluffs. They are available during business hours as well.

By definition, the word "solace" means "that which furnishes comfort or consolation." Coincidentally, SOLAS, although it is spelled differently, provides the same thing for many unwanted dogs, cats, and other animals living in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area. S.O.L.A.S. is a 501(c)3 Not for Profit organization.
