My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Walley, a young feline with a heart full of love and curiosity. He's an absolute goofball, always ready to explore the unknown and turn it into a playful adventure. His friendly nature and cuddly personality will make you laugh out loud with his funny antics. He's the type of cat who will demand your attention, not out of neediness, but simply because he loves interacting with humans. He enjoys a good game of chase, a gentle stroke, and a warm lap to curl up on. His sweet nature and playful spirit make every day a joy. Adopt Walley, not just because he's a cat in need, but because he will fill your home with love, laughter, and endless cuddles. He got his name because he was literally trapped inside of a wall and the wall had to be literally demolished to get him out. We weren't going to leave him in there!

More about this shelter

We are located in South Mississippi, but travel up the east coast regularly (every 3 to 4 weeks) with pre-adopted animals.Dixie Adoptables is one of many shelters working to get animals out of the area where shelters are always full, and adoptions of the sweet babies are hard to come by. We are grateful to every person that chooses to adopt and give a home to a loving animal, whose only fault was being born in a part of the country where their value is underappreciated and spay/neuter is done far too infrequently.
Dixie Adoptables is a 501c3 rescue.
