Hi! My name is Osoona. I'm a young, lab/Shephard mix looking for my new forever home. My search for a new home is through no fault of my own. I was left at the vet to be euthanized because my owner couldn't afford heartworm treatment. At such a young age, and with so much potential, the vet reached out to rescues for help, and SOCA answered the call!

I have a beautiful black coat with ombre highlights that you must see in person! I'm eager to please, and want nothing more than to be loved. I'm in a house with 2 other dogs (one large and one small/medium sized), and we all get along well together. When I'm not playing with my foster siblings or with toys, I'm following my foster mom around to see what she is doing. I've learned the commands "sit", "come here", "lay down", "Crate up", and a few more! I'm also potty trained and crate trained. Overall I'm gentle, but I try to be a lap dog and get a little excited when my human joins me playing with toys. I like to play fetch with a tennis ball, and I'm learning a release command and impulse control when playing fetch. Did I mention that I have the potential to do amazing nose work? I'm just doing a gig here and there in the house and I love it!

I just finished my heartworm treatment, and I'm ready to live my best life! I have been doing great walking on a leash, and I love going on walks. My ideal home would be with an active family who will take me on adventures to keep my mind and body occupied.
