Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jackson came to BCHS on October 9, 2023, after he was found tied to a tree with no food, water or shelter available to him. He was very scared and skittish but has since come out of his shell and is the sweetest boy.
Jackson really enjoys going on walks although his leash manners are a working progress. A strong owner that will continue with leash training is recommended. Jackson seems to be fine with children as long as they are familiar with strong dogs. He is kind and loving, but sometimes does not know his own strength especially when playing with toys. He loves jumping for his toys and playing tug! Jackson is also dog friendly but prefers females.
Jacksons ideal home it with an active family with older children who will continue with training as well as giving him all the love and playtime he desires. If you think Jackson would be a great addition to your household, please apply or call for more information.

We try to have a thorough process that ensures animals are placed in loving homes that are capable of caring for the animal. We have an application that requires references and we interview both the references and the applicants, before we place a pet.
