Roscoe is an unusual name for a dog... However, Rosco P Coltrane is NOT! I mean, doesn't the whole thing sound so perfect?
I even have my own signature saying, "I'm gonna cuff ya and stuff ya!!" which in doggy language means.... HOT DOGS :)
Well, so does everything else... HOT DOGS :) In fact, I can't say HOT DOGS :) without capital letters and a smile!!! Cause I LOVE THEM!
So, here we are, the part of the bio that tells you all about me... I am cute, I might be hungry, I am smart, I am sweet and I am AVAILABLE!!
I have a very unique breed type- Lab/Rottie? You can see my markings if you look closely, the eyebrows- the jawline, the chest........ GORGEOUS!!
I am great with mostly everyone but would prefer to not be around small animals, I have the amber eyes that will melt your heart when I look at you. I am a good sized boy- about 80#. I want a real family, real couches and real love...
Food is nice too but the main thing I want is love love love :)

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
