My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Rose is a gentle soul who is sweet natured and could be an only cat or friends with your good natured kitty.
Rose was rescued off the street. It is always amazing to me how cats can be so forgiving of humans who abandon them. This is Rose, sweet natured and appreciative of her foster family.
Rose lives with dogs including a labrador and cocker spaniel and is very good with other cats.
Rose is young, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and negative for FELV/FIV.
To meet Rose please go to our website, www.southerncountiesrescue.org and complete our adoption Questionnaire.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
