My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stanley is a handsome grey and silver tabby from Closter, NJ. He joined the Chance at Life family on October 18 after making sporadic appearances for a few weeks prior at very early hours of the morning.

Stanley would show up around 4am looking for food but would not come too close or go anywhere near a trap. He would sit and hang out with the raccoons looking for a handout and smack them if they tried to take his food. It took some coaxing to get him close and when the opportunity presented itself, the recue president grabbed him and took him into her home. At first, he hissed but showed no signs of aggression and started to eat immediately. Within hours he was handleable and brought to the vet.

Stanley is very sweet and quick to purr. He enjoys being brushed and can be picked up. He has a great appetite and weighs in at 13.4lbs. Other than having some fleas, Stanley was very clean. He may have been dumped by someone. No microchip was found.

Approximate DOB 04/18/2022.

Up to date on vaccinations, neutered and FIV/FeLV negative.

Our cats and kittens are not adopted on a first come, first served basis, but whom we feel would be the best fit for our cats and kittens.
