Meet Sparky!

Sparky is a high energy, black German Shepherd and an amazing furry friend who has captured our hearts. He was brought to us by a kind soul who could no longer care for him, and now we're on a mission to find him the loving forever home he truly deserves.

Sparky is truly one of a kind. He's got some impressive credentials under his belt - he's house-trained, kennel-trained, leash trained, and even mastered the art of using a doggie door!

He's such a smart pup, and he picks up on new tricks and commands quicker than you can say "fetch!"

Speaking of which, Sparky absolutely ADORES playing with tennis balls. It's his absolute favorite pastime, and his enthusiasm is infectious!

Now, while Sparky could potentially share his home with another furry friend, we believe that a proper introduction would be the key to a harmonious coexistence. So, if you already have a canine companion, don't worry - Sparky is open to making new friends!

A full screening is done by two people , the first person is a volunteer who goes over all questions and information about dog .

Home Check

Meet the Pet

Sign Adoption Contract

Adoption contract is signed before the dog leaves for its seven day trail run.

7.
Take the Pet Home

At the end of the seven days the contract is completed by both parties and the fee is paid.

Additional adoption info

Seven day trail period helps the transition for dogs , if it is not a good fit for the potential adopter the dogs always go back to the rescue.

Go meet their pets

Adoption events are on hold due to the heat this summer but will resume in the cooler months to come. All events get posted online but meet and greets are on an appointment bases per scheduling. All dogs are available to view online and during live adoption events on instagram and face book.

Our rescue is veteran owned and operated and our volunteers work countless hours to help all euthanasia listed dogs of Maricopa county animal care and control center.
