Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oso is a 4 year old, 13 pound Dachshund Chihuahua mix who is looking for a forever home.
Oso is the sweetest little boy. He absolutely loves children and always in the arms of any child who sees him. Oso is quite nervous of other dogs. When he was found he had injuries that were typical of being attacked by a large dog. When Oso is around other dogs he will avoid them and try to hide. If there is another dog in the home, the dog will need to be calm and gentle for Oso to be comfortable. Oso is good around cats and just ignores them.
Oso is a happy boy but is shy and submissive in nature. He sleeps in his kennel on a nice blankie in his foster home in Texas, and also loves his dog bed. He loves a car ride and is not a fussy eater.
This wonderful little fellow is crate trained and house trained. His new family will need to help him have a regular potty schedule. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience is important.
Oso is looking for someone to love him forever. Are you going to be the lucky one to welcome him home? Apply to adopt Oso today!
