Hi Everyone! My name is Vega, and I’m a wonderful sato from Puerto Rico! I was born on Aug. 19th to my Mama, Estrella (see her in my video!) whose name means “star” in Spanish. My rescue team at the Puerto Rico Dog Fund (PRDF) thought it would be cool to name me and my siblings after the “brightest stars”. So, I am called Vega, which means “weaving girl”, because I weave in and out of the puppy shenanigans! I am a sweet girl, and have a good mix of play and cuddle in me. My mama is a chihuahua mix (17 lbs) and the neighbors report to the rescue team that my daddy is a lab mix (whoa!). I have a beautiful, smooth, sleek black body with lots of fun white swoops in my coat like two of my brothers. I am ready to adopt vy mid-October. My rescue team at the PRDF are currently screening applicants, and I am now in NJ with a foster (the adoption fee includes this cost to fly me). I cannot wait to meet my new family!
