My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you want a dog, but only have a small space for a cat? Or you just have a cat that needs a friend? Or even a dog that needs a friend? Well, Beans is your girl! Beans is very smart and very active and even dog like. She would do best with someone that wants to train her to do tricks and maybe even go on walks! She communicates with her people when she wants to play by bringing over a toy and dropping it nearby. She is super social and makes friends easily.

BEANS, a purrfect blend of feline charm and playful energy! This little furball is a true fetch enthusiast, particularly with her beloved fish toy. She excels at high back flips and will chase a string toy until she's exhausted. Then she'll sprawl, all legs out on the floor ready for her nap. With twinkling eyes and a soft, snow-leopard coat, she's an adventurous soul and immediate best friend!

After a bit of play sweet girl needs a cuddle and a nap right next to you! Her purrs are the loudest and most relaxing ever! She's absolutely Purrrrfect! Come meet Beans today!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Interested adopter fills out an application online.

Adoption team reviews application, completes vet and landlord checks.

Adoption team will notify applicant if they are approved or declined, or if we need to redirect to a pet that is a better fit for the applicant or if the pet they applied for has other applicants in front of them.

If approved, adoption team will send an email connecting foster parent to adopter. We ask that the applicant and foster parent make initial contact within 48 hours of the meet & greet email going out.

If it seems like a fit over the phone then foster parents and potential adopter will set up a home visit.

After meet and greet, the foster and potential adopter will let the adoption team know how they would each like to proceed.

Note: We do not do onsite adoptions. Foster pets will return to the foster home after the meet and greet is complete, even if both parties want to move forward with adoption.

If a fit for both parties, the adoption team will send the adopter a link for adoption fee payment and an adoption contract.

Adoption team will let foster know once the adoption is complete and you are then free to coordinate handoff!
