Meet gentle BENSON, a 90lb, black and tan German Shepherd, who spent time at two LA City shelters before we rescued him. During his time at South LA and North Central shelters he participated in several dog playgroups and was a volunteer favorite.
This handsome guy is estimated to be about 4 years old. BENSON spent time at our kennel and is currently in a foster home with another dog. He has a nice calm energy with a playful side too.
Don't let BENSON's "size" deter you from meeting him. He walks extremely well on leash and takes treats gently. Benson can be a little reserved when you first meet him but he enjoys being close to people and has an affectionate, loyal personality.
