Sweet little Francis is a shy quiet girl that is getting a home & family for the first time! This is her first time having no responsibilities, so she is watching everyone else to see what things there are to do all day.

Two things stand out for Francis. Couches & laps. She likes both of those. She does prefer women over men, so that is the lap she heads for first with her foster mom. She will warm up to men, it just takes a little longer.

Francis is liking the low gear in her foster home. She doesn’t appreciate shenanigans, so obnoxious puppies, loud activities, or a ‘busy’ household just won’t be her scene. She will be okay as an only dog or with another dog of equal activity level & size, which is low.

Speaking of size, Francis is tiny! And she is fast. She runs out the door to do her potty business, & she decides when to come back in. A leash or harness around her neck is not something she is ready for, that really makes her uncomfortable. So, we will insist on a very secure physical fence. A secure fence will allow her to continue progressing in her potty-training routine. We want to make sure that we set her up for success!

Are you ready for a pint-sized buddy? Because Francis is sure ready to find her home.

You can find FAQ on our website regarding adopting. Please send us an email with your completed application if you think you'd be a good fit to adopt Francis!
