Poppy is about 18-20 lbs and turned 5 in May. She's a very mellow and loving dog. She's very good with kids, very patient, even with babies pulling her hair or tail or 3 years olds  wanting to dance with her.

Her family's circumstances have changed drastically and they can no longer keep her. She spends most of her time outside and gets lonely. She's do better in a home where she wouldn't be alone all day long.

She loves to cuddle but isn't demanding of attention. She's very gentle, non aggressive. She has been around other dogs in the house while we've had company or dog sat. She gets a little excited to begin with but once she's over the initial newness she calms down and gets along real well. We've never had her around cats but would probably be fine.

She is housebroken--she'll let someone know when she wants to go outside.

All our dogs are altered (if the dog is large enough), microchipped and up-to-date on their shots at the time of adoption.
