Shawnee is an 10 year old Shetland Pony who came to us after being confiscated by law enforcement from an neglect/animal abuse case.

While here are Sanctuary One, Shawnee has learned to trust humans again. She is a shy pony who needs time to warm up to people but once she trusts you she is very affectionate and quiet. She stands at 11 hands, ties, good for the farrier and trailers quietly. She is not broke to ride and is NOT a child's mount, she will only be adopted to someone who is very horse savvy and home/reference checks are a must.
