My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Zora has been waiting patiently for her forever home.  She has worked hard to learn basic commands, potty train and get ready to meet her person/s.  However, that day has not come.  This sweet baby is an active and intelligent girl, making her an ideal companion for active families. She's great with kids and gets along well with most dogs, but can be a little protective of her food and toys.  She loves to snuggle on the furniture, is eager to please and is a good-hearted girl. She is currently in the DASH Prison Training program and has learned basic commands like sit, stay, heel, down, free, wait and leave. Her trainer describes her as affectionate, loyal and loves to take walks and long naps on the bed. "By far, she is my favorite dog to go through the training program". She is usually very quiet an loves to go for walks.  However she can be suspicious of new places and loud noises.   Zora doesn't know a stranger and is very social.  She has been known to bark at strangers, when she is playing and in her crate because she desperately wants to be with her people. If you're considering adopting Zora, be prepared for a long-term commitment and plenty of love and adventures. Let's make Zora's dream of a loving, forever home come true!

More about this rescue

DASH ( Danielle's animal safe haven) rescue Is a 501 3c rescue trying to place as many homeless animals in loving homes as we possibly can. We pull breeds of all types and sizes. We rescue dogs from your purse puppies to your gentle giants and all in between. We pull from kill shelters where most pups are on their last day. We try to keep our adoption fees within reason, but they do vary. In rescuing these hopeful pets, there comes a lot of expenses. These fees help with vetting, medications, altering (age appropriate) and so much more. If you are interested in fostering or donating any unwanted supplies, cash donations or even food, please contact dashrescue00@gmail.com, we are always in need of any kind of help. The more help we get, the more lives we can save. You can also email us.
