My name is Holmes!

Holmes was brought in when his owner was no longer able to care for him. He and his companions were unfortunately not socialized or given the care they needed. Consequently Holmes will need an adopter with patience and understanding to show him the world is not a big scary place. He does really great with people and other dogs, but everything else is scary and new for him. Despite his isolated start in life, Holmes is surprisingly trusting. He also arrived with a severe skin infection which is now doing great! Holmes is microchipped and current on core vaccines. Sadly, he was heartworm positive when he came in, but will be treated here by our veterinarian. In the meantime, he is available as a foster to adopt.
