Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please meet Billy! He was rescued from a puppy mill and has had little, to no, human interaction before coming to ECCHA. He must go to a home with another dog (or dogs) as he finds trust and comfort with his canine companions. Billy is a special boy who will take patience, time, and commitment to fully acclimate to his new family. For this reason, Billy is part of our foster-to-adopt program; as a way to ensure that the right fit is found, for both the potential adopters and Billy. Per the program, the adopters will pay a $50 deposit, have two weeks to get to know each other, and then be able to adopt. If it is not a forever fit, the deposit is not refundable but could be transferred to a different dog. If it is a forever fit, the $50 would go towards their $150 adoption fee.
ECCHA has many resources on shy and fearful dogs. We would be happy to share them with you!
