My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bonnie! She is a 3 yr old Brindle/White petite pit mix and was saved from Turlock Shelter a few days before she was scheduled for euthanasia due to space.

Bonnie is dog friendly but will need a very structured home and very slow introductions to thrive as she has shown some reactivity. Her perfect home though would consist of her being the one and only princess in the home or with another lower energy dog who is well balanced. She is very human friendly and a very playful, affectionate girl.

She has came out of her shell and has shown her foster paw-rents how much she is eager to please everyone. She is a mellow gal, who is working every day on becoming more confident! She is working on her leash manners, and would do just fine with kids. She loves to company that children provide her with and enjoys them just as much as they enjoy her. She has been taking pack walks with her foster sister (husky) and has been doing well! She loves to find the sun spot and play fetch in the backyard!

Bonnie spent 4 weeks in a board & train with the amazing BeSpokeK9 to work on her leash reactivity, confidence and to freshen up on her skills. Bonnie comes with lifetime assistance from her trainer @boooshank (IG), group classes for the rest of her life, 1:1 lessons, boarding options and priority swimming pool slots for anyone who takes a chance on this amazing gal!

Could Bonnie be your new best friend? She is waiting for her forever family to find her and make her a part of their home, forever.

She is currently being fostered in San Rafael, CA. If you would like to meet her, please fill out our adoption application on our website www.californiabullyrescue.org/adopt
