My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Thelma!
What does Thelma need in her forever home?
She has a slight medical issues that requires her to be on a daily medication for the rest of her life. The cost now for medication is around 35.00 a month.

Thelma, is a very spunky little gal, who enjoys playing hard, chewing on her favorite bones & toys, and absolutely thrives to have as much affection as possible. She is a mix breed, weighing around 40lbs.
She has been through the New Leash on Life training at the women's correction center. She has learned to sit, stay, place, high five, shake, and potty trained. All around Thelma is a great dog, who would be great for someone who needs a little extra loving.
Estimated birthdate: 2022

More about this rescue

Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to saving the lives of adoptable dogs and cats who would otherwise die simply because their time is up at shelters in western NC. We accomplish this by placing them into loving, forever homes via a system of transport to reputable rescues and no-kill shelters throughout the United States, as well as local adoptions. Each one is cared for, loved and given everything it needs (food, exercise, socialization, basic training, vetting, vaccinations, heart worm testing and spay/neuter) to become the best possible companion animal it can be! We provide this through our foster families and our Safe Haven until such time they are chosen to go to other rescues, where adoption awaits them, or they are adopted by us into local homes.
