My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Milo, a charming young pup with an award-winning smile! His joyful personality and endearing hugs make him a fan favorite among staff and volunteers. While sweet Milo shares a very loving bond with his trusted people, he can sometimes be wary of strangers and he appreciates gentle and patient introductions. With time and treats, he quickly warms up and then you have a friend for life.

A standout quality of Milo's is his exceptional leash manners. He casually keeps pace with his person, curiously sniffing at everything and he's just so happy to be going somewhere with you. He is so polite and gentle, and very easy to handle. While he thoroughly enjoys playtime and adventures, Milo also relishes quiet times, snuggles and of course belly rubs!

Milo has enjoyed several shelter breaks with our amazing volunteers, where he showed that he can live harmoniously in homes with both dogs and cats! Here are some glowing notes from his foster families:

"He is a super sweet and quiet dog. He was great with plants and furniture and just wanted to cuddle most of the time. He let me know when he needed to go out to potty. He does have some stranger danger, but it certainly would get better in time and with more interactions. He is super smart and LOVES to give hugs once he opens up."

Milo is still very young and it's heartbreaking that he has spent most of his puppyhood in the shelter system. He has so much loyalty and affection to give, and he would love to find his forever family before he turns 2 years old! Come and meet Milo, you will absolutely adore this sweet boy.
