Meet Spicy Tuna! She's a sweet, energetic rabbit who loves to be pet. Spicy was recently in a foster home, and her foster said that she's the type of rabbit who "will make you smile every day! She's a very clean rabbit and has excellent litter box habits and also doesn't try to chew anything she isn't supposed to. She enjoys running up and down hallways, getting pets, and getting a late-night snack - her favorite is arugula!
Spicy Tuna likes tearing up cardboard boxes and tunnels and finding new places to run and explore. She's always willing to "help out" putting away groceries in case any greens appear, and really likes being around wherever you are. When she's not running around, she's always ready for pets and face rubs. Spicy is extremely gentle and would probably do very well with children. She would really like a rabbit friend; she constantly wants to interact with the other rabbits in her foster home.
Spicy Tuna is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine needs to be administered annually).
Submit an adoption application for Spicy Tuna at center.houserabbit.org. House Rabbit Society is located in Richmond, California, just north of San Francisco. Questions? Email rabbit-center@houserabbit.org and we'll be happy to talk more with you!

More about this rescue
Since 1988, House Rabbit Society, its supporters, small staff, local chapters, licensed educators, and other volunteers around the globe have been advocating for the care and well-being of rabbits.
Our goal is to help people see rabbits as intelligent and social pets who thrive indoors. HRS’ mission, philosophy, and policies have influenced the formation of many other nonprofit rabbit rescue groups and set a standard for the treatment and respect of domesticated rabbits. As a nonprofit, we rely on membership support and other donations–large and small. HRS financial documents are provided below, which record our programmatic efforts over the past decade.
