Mango is a very energetic, super handsome male retriever mix who loves people and gets along well with other dogs. He will follow you to the end of the earth if you make him part of your family. He is about a year and a half old, and currently not well trained at the moment, but he is very eager to please and is a good candidate to become well trained if an effort is made. He will be an excellent running, hiking, or walking buddy. Mango is a loyal, loving dog who has been waiting for his forever home very patiently. Please apply if you think Mango is a good fit for your family. Hes a great dog.

Adoption process requires an interview with adopter, ad adoption agreement, plus spay/neuter deposit if animal is not spayed/neutered.

Senior cats 7 years and older: $75
Dogs and puppies: $350-1200 depending on breed

Jelly's Place is a rescue and No-kill shelter founded in 2017 to be an advocate for the lives and dignity of urban animals who are homeless, abandoned, impounded, sick, or injured, by providing responsible care, placement, and community education. Its founder, Julie Bainbridge, has been rescuing and fostering animals since childhood. She has rescued, fostered, and /or raised all kinds of animals, including baby squirrels, raccoons, pigeons, chickens, geese, ducks, skunks (yes- skunks), wild and tropical birds, pigmey goats, mice, snakes, rabbits, dogs, and cats. Some animals are cared for by volunteers in their homes.
Jelly's Place is named in memory of her beloved English Bulldog who crossed over the Rainbow bridge in 2016. Jelly's Place is a 501 (3)(c) nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible.
Jelly's Place depends on donations, grants, and volunteers to foster and care for animals.
