Oh, hi there! I'm Carol. Are you my new BFF? I sure hope so! Everyone who meets me says I'm a real sweetie with a kind and loving heart. I'm also athletic and energetic, and I'd be a fantastic companion for someone who loves to go for walks or hikes. I'm still working on perfecting my leash-walking skills, but I'm learning! That's another great thing about me: I am one smart cookie. I'm housetrained and kennel trained - in fact, when it's bedtime, I go to my kennel all on my own. I know 'sit' and several other commands, and I'm eager to learn new tricks and games. I like kids, but it would probably be best if I went to a family with no kids under age 5, as I can be exuberant when I'm excited. I'm on a low-dose of doggy anxiety medication which helps calm me down. Hey, what can I say? I have a general zeal for life! I think cats are way too much fun to chase, though, so my friends at Rescue Network say I should go to a home without any feline friends in it. When it comes to canine pals, I do get along with them, so long as they're not the bossy type. What I'm looking forward to most of all is meeting my new forever people-pals! I've been waiting a long time for that day, and I've got a lot of love to give. :-)

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are a best guess."
