My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daphne is an adorable and fun dog with a very sweet disposition!
She is approximately 1 - 1 1/2 years old and she weighs almost 40 lbs.

Daphne has a happy go lucky personality.... She thinks everyone is her best friend, she will sit in your lap or lay at your feet to be as close to you as she can. If you are watching tv she will snuggle next to you.
Daphne loves to play outside by running around in her foster family's backyard, especially if one of her doggy foster siblings joins her. She loves to take all of her toys outside, but she's not very good at bringing them back in lol.
Daphne has a blast chasing a ball, trying to catch a frisbee or pulling on a rope toy.

Daphne is fostered with dogs that are small and large and she is friends with them all. She is house and crate trained and has great manners!
She loves her foster family's 2 and 4 year old grandchildren and she's is around them several days a week. The kids love playing with her, they enjoy getting her to sit for treats or play with them outside. Daphne rides very well in a car and she has been to several dog friendly stores and she has loved meeting other people and dogs.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

• 21 years of age • Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides assistance to Team Memphis Rescue & Support approved rescues by transporting pets from shelters, boarding facilities, Veterinary clinics and foster homes. We help evaluate temperaments of pets and network to find foster homes. Animal Rescue is an ongoing battle. We are stronger when we stand together.
