My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Benson, our reverse McGyver! He's a comical and curious cat who loves to deconstruct things, just for the fun of it! He being in the middle of everything and enjoys the fine art of playing. Benson is sleek like a seal and has one white whisker. He would love nothing more than to have a home of his very own where his person or people take the time to play with him often. If you, like Benson, have a curious mind and enjoy figuring out what makes things tick, you will love having Benson by your side as you discover things together!

PAL’s Adoption Center, located in Okatie, South Carolina, serves as a temporary residence for approximately 200 dogs and cats while they wait to find a loving home. Our comfortable, upbeat facility is also home to PAL’s Community Clinic, which offers wellness exams, vaccines and other vital services to pet owners at affordable prices.

In addition, Palmetto Animal League manages a network of loving foster families to house and care for abandoned animals.
