Taguchi spent some time out of the shelter on a straycation and we were able to learn so much about him!

Taguchi is people friendly, and did well with the other dogs in his temp foster home (a Pomeranian and GSD).

This sploot king is crate-trained and potty-trained (he'll scratch at the door when he needs to go out).

Taguchi is a medium energy guy who seems to get bored easily so he'd likely be up for adventures and doing new things! He's playful and could do well with another dog that also likes to play.

He's very treat motivated and is working on loose leash walking.

Taguchi also has the potential to live with cats with the right intros and management.

Come meet this fun boy! He would love a foster home or better yet, a forever home!

CARE STL is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that serves as the established, No-Kill animal shelter for the City of St. Louis Animal Care and Control. We provide animal regulation services and help the city enforce Title 10 of the City of St. Louis Ordinance relevant to animal care and control; however, CARE STL also enforces and embraces the No-Kill equation and follows the guiding principles of no-kill shelters.
