Kimmy is a beautiful and sweet 2 year old tortie looking for her forever home. She was a good mama to her 8 kittens and is ready to settle in to a calm and peaceful home where she can chill, look out windows and be spoiled rotten. She gets along well with other respectful cats (live and let live is her motto) and has served as a mentor to a couple of fearful kittens who looked to her for reassurance. She is currently in our warehouse, but it's a lonely place for her, and we are hoping to fins a person or family who will patiently and lovingly support her transition to a home. She is a bit shy until she knows and trusts you. She enjoys treats (Friskies and Temptations) and loves rotisserie chicken. Kimmy knows her name and will come out when you call "Kimmy Kimmy Kimmy" and meow to her. She meows back! A successful initial strategy has been to quietly sit on the floor, summon her, offer treats and wait for her to slowly approach you as you gradually lay a trail of treats closer to you. She will sniff an outstretched hand and eventually will rub up against your hand. Once she is in a home environment where she feels safe, we predict she will blossom. Do you have the love in your heart and patience to bring this beautiful and sweet girl out of her shell?
