My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gala is a super sweet and loving cat who LOVES pets and attention. She loves to sit on your lap and show you how much she loves you. When she isn't soaking in the love she likes to play with toys and run around the house. Gala probably would like to be an only cat. While she is out with other cats at her foster's house, she will try to chase them off and doesn't seem to want other cats too close to her. As she gets to know the other cats she does this less, but will still chase them if she feels she can get away with it. She will typically leave other cats who stick up for themselves alone because she doesn't like getting into cat fights. Gala was found outside with her 3 kittens, but definitely prefers being an indoor cat. She doesn't like strong litter scents so should have unscented litter.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
