Male, approx. 10 years, 44lbs
Personality: smart, snuggler, shy, loyal, eager-to-please
Meet Cyril, the ultimate cuddle connoisseur! This little guy is a pro at stealing hearts and snuggles. He's a true homebody, known for his impeccable manners: no chewing, no begging, great behavior when left to roam the house alone, and no accidents in the house! Cyril loves hanging out in the backyard, chilling on the couch, and snoozing in bed. His bedtime routine? Well, let's just say he has a knack for arranging the covers in the most adorable way!
While Cyril isn't much of a toy enthusiast, he's a champ at walks: polite, leash-savvy, and unfazed by squirrels or passersby. He's pretty quiet, but will let you know when guests show up to the house! He's a smart cookie, knows his basic words, and might be up for learning a few more tricks too.
Though a bit hesitant with new folks, once Cyril warms up, he's a loyal shadow and a total snugglebug. He's good with older children who respect his boundaries and can read his signals. If you're looking for a guy who wears his heart on his paw, apply today to meet Cyril!

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).
Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, Leptospirosis, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.
Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
