My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hank is a beautiful (appears to be a) pure-bred chocolate Labrador Retriever, rescued as a stray a few months ago. He is a typical lab, very smart and energetic. He has lived in a home with other dogs and children, but due to his size and energy level, we do not recommend him for young children (under age 13). As you would expect, Hank loves water - in fact, if you leave the bathroom door open while taking a shower or bath, he's likely to join you!

He's currently in a foster home, getting regular walks and exercise. His foster mom is working on making him a pro on-leash and he is doing fantastic - he's food/treat motivated, which makes him so trainable. She is also working on socializing him with another foster dog in the home, but so far he has shown little interest in playing with her. Hank would be fine as an only dog, although he does fine around other dogs - he just doesn't seem interested in playing with them, yet.

Hank is house, crate and leash-trained! He's ready to find his forever, active family!
