Little Stanley weighs just under 10 pounds and is estimated to be 5 years old. He is a bundle of energy, loves people, gets along with other dogs, and ignores cats. He came to us from an owner that was overwhelmed with too many pets and could not take care of them.
Stanley is looking forward to walking with loved ones around the neighborhood and meeting new people and new canine friends. He would love to go to a family with a secure fenced in yard and a family with other pets his size. His favorite thing is to dart around the yard as fast as he can and play with rag toys that have no stuffing.
Stanley is super friendly to everyone he meets and he is a bundle of joy. He does have a puppy type mentality as we think he did not have that much exposure to people or training in his previous situation. You can see the joy of gratitude and a spark of innocence’s in his eyes as he romps around the room and plays with you and his canine friends.
Paws for Seniors’ rescue dogs are spay/neutered, current on rabies and distemper vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm and tick borne disease tested as well as baseline blood analysis. They also receive an intake wellness exam where other possible ailments or issues are identified. Stanley specifically had to have dental surgery and cleaning and he also needed neutering.
