Howdy I am Woody I am a pit mix male around 2-4 yrs old and 57 lbs. I found my self here at the pound with two of my friends. Just like my friends I am scared and could use some work on trusting people. I also could learn some basic training and walking on leash, once I earn your trust and learn new things I will be your best friend. Come meet me and my friends. We do not have to be adopted together.

Adopters must agree to have the animal spay or neuter within 30 days of adoption. A 20% discount spay/neuter certificate is available to adopter for the 4 vets in Bolivar, Missouri.

More about this shelter

We try our best to get the animals out of here to other shelters/rescues or adoptions. We also return back to owners as soon as possible. We have sent several animal to other shelters through out the year. We have wonderful volunteers that set up the transports for us and get in contact with other shelters. We also do close work with the Polk County Humane Society along with some close shelters. Our goal is to find homes for the animals.
