What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Rocco is by far the most affectionate and snuggly terrier we have ever known. We believe this is both his best quality and ultimately his downfall as he tends to resource guard his people against affection from other pets.
He has done very well with our nieces, age 2-6, for short periods of time (up to 24 hours in the same household).
He is leash reactive to other dogs and his unique voice is sure to be a conversation starter. He is also likely to sing excitedly when he gets to go on a car ride.
We are hoping to find him a home with an active person with no other pets, familiarity with working terriers and a heart full of love. We believe he would do well with some space to roam as he enjoys sniffing around and hunting on our property.
He knows basic obedience commands including come, sit, stay, watch, and roll over, etc. If you’re looking for an active small dog to love you unconditionally this little guy might be for you!
