Meet Angel.
Angel has been in foster since March, and really needs a home to call her own. She is such a sweet girl, that really wants to be the only dog. She is ok with male dogs and is fine with little dogs that do not bounce on her. She is not cat friendly. Angel needs to be on a leash at all times or in a fenced yard, as she will run if free. She really is a love bug, and wants to share all of her attention with you. Angel would make a great running partner, as she is excellent on leash and loves walks. Belly rubs and couch cuddles are free! Angel just went on a field trip to the White Barn in Belfair, where there were many people, loud music, and much activity, she did great! She licked every human she met.

Go meet their pets

Our pets are currently in foster homes as well as we have a program with the local women's prison. With the prison the animals live in the room with the inmate handler and receive socialization and training. We have just recently added dogs to our program with the prison. Generally the pets are brought to our office for their meet and greets and adoptions. We also do adoption events at the Petsmart in Lacey Washington.

More about this rescue

We are a small but mighty Humane Society serving an underserved county with adoption, spay and neuter, wellness, stray recovery, and other animal related services. Currently we are all foster as we don't have a shelter yet, but we have a 5 acre parcel we are going to build a shelter on. We have started the planning process with Shelter Planners of America. We are just moving into a larger office where we hope to provide vet services, have a pet food bank, operate our spay and neuter clinic and other exciting things for the future.
