Buddy is a very handsome 6-year-old, 60lb Shepherd mix.
He may have some pre-mature gray coming in on his face, but he still has plenty of spunk and absolutely LOVES to play chase with the other dogs in his foster home.
He came out of a very bad situation, and he was initially shy and scared. You would never know it now. All that remains of the scared dog we first met is a little nervousness in new situations...but he welcomes visitors to his foster home and enjoys going for walks with his doggie pals.
Buddy is very accepting of all other dogs, and he's the welcome committee when new fosters come into the home. Buddy has a way of assuring them that everything is going to be ok now.
He's is affectionate, and loves to snuggle. If you allow him to sleep with you, be warned that he is a bit of a "bed hog".
Even the kitty in his foster home likes to snuggle with Buddy.
Buddy is looking for someone who understands and appreciates him for who he is - a little shy, a lot playful, and a whole lot of love. He is so deserving of a loving home.

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
