Hi, my name is Maggie, and I'm 4 years old and weigh 55 lbs. It's difficult to tell in my photos, but I have a beautiful, shiny black coat with auburn highlights. I am a little shy at first, but once I get to know and trust someone, I will be the most loyal and loving dog ever. I have wonderful house manners, so my foster family leaves me with run of the house when they leave. I love toys, in fact I'm a little addicted to them! I don't chew or destroy them, I just love to carry them around, kind of like a security blanket. I love to take walks, and I have great leash manners, although I do like to stop and smell a few things along the way. So many interesting smells out there! I get along with most other dogs, but I definitely do best with a more laid back dog buddy. Truth be told, I would love to be an only dog so I can get all the attention and cuddles. I also prefer a quiet, low activity home. I'm really a low maintenance dog. Just hanging out with my people and an occasional walk, and I'm good!

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
