Fritz - unclaimed stray from city pound now available for adoption. He is a happy, energetic dog. Knows "sit" and is learning leash manners, however, it has now been determined that he is deaf/hard of hearing. He will likely do best in a home without small children and with an adopter who will engage his mind in lots of activities, preferably someone with deaf dog experience. He plays well with other dogs of similar size and energy. Fritz spent a week in a foster home with other dogs and cats and did fabulous. Foster says after the first exciting day he settled right in to the routine, enjoyed lazing on the couch and being part of the pack. To make an appointment to meet him complete the online adoption application at www.denisonanimalwelfaregroup.org/adopt
$75 adoption fee includes neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations and microchip. He tested NEG for heartworms, has been treated for parasites and started on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
