My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Inky is a purebred papered Tibetan Mastiff with champion bloodlines. She has come into rescue because, like many Tibetan Mastiffs, she is picky about her dog friends. She could not get along with an older, frail dog in her home.

Inky is a fantastic dog for someone who knows and understands the Tibetan Mastiff breed. She is an indoor dog and would not be happy banished to the backyard. While Inky is an excellent guard dog, she's happiest when snuggling with her family or going on hikes and outdoor adventures with her people. Inky is smart and easily trained. She walks well on leash and has basic commands (sit, wait, down). Inky likes male huskies, malamutes, and other woolly-coated large dogs.

Inky is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines.

Once your applicaton has been approved you will be invited to select a time to meet your potential pet.

We are looking for responsible, warm-hearted people to give our dogs the wonderful homes they deserve. Our adoption process is thorough but fast. We focus on making the best match between you and the right dog. To adopt, you will need to:

1. Complete the Adoption Application.
2. Meet the dog you want to adopt.
3. Show proof that you can have a dog in your home (lease, mortgage, letter from landlord).
4. Sign our Adoption Agreement and pay an Adoption Fee.

However we host regular adoption pop-ups at Pet Food Express Sonoma (Saturday's 11am-2pm) and on the first Sunday of the month can be found at Pet Food Express, 1975 Market Street, San Francisco.
