Billie is a five month old purebred Jack Russell terrier. He along with his brother, Willie, were purchased from a breeder nearby. Their owner, an 89-year-old gentleman, soon found they were too much under his feet, tripping him, they became mobile. His family took good care of the puppies, got them in for the remainder of their vaccinations, had them neutered, and started house breaking on them. Their tails have been docked. They are crate trained and readily go into their crates at night. After coming to the Ark, Billie and his brother had physical exams, fecal exams, and flea tick and heartworm medication applied. They were both deemed healthy. They have both been chipped, and have documents to complete their registrations. They have learned to walk on leash at the Ark, and prefer going outside to potty, but will use pads , Billie is 13 pounds he’s the dominant and is treat possessive. They will not be adopted together to allow Willie the opportunity to catch up physically and developmentally with Billie.
