What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We brought Sundae into our home in 2020. She was a friendly stray or lost cat that was hanging out on our front porch. We were unable to locate her owners, so we brought her into our home. When we took her to get her vaccines we discovered that she had already been spayed. She is sweet and loves to be in the same room as us. She does not like to be picked up, but she loves to curl up in our bed, in laps, and sit next to us. She loves attention when she asks for it. She does not like strangers. She always hides when we have guests over. She is skittish with loud noises or sudden movements. We love her dearly, but our other cat does not get along with her. He bullies her and continually tries to establish his dominance in the house. We have tried many things to try to make it work with both cats in our home, but it is causing them both to show signs of stress and we can no longer keep her.
She would do best in a quiet home without small children or other pets.
