My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

In summer of 2020 Arwen was rescued from a very bad hoarding situation. In a pack of 27 dogs she received very little attention or care and was forced to compete for food, water, and shelter. She has come so far in her time in foster but can still be timid around humans. She is dog friendly but due to her background not excessively affectionate towards her humans and would love someone who will be patient and understanding that she is probably never going to be a lap dog.

She would love a low activity, quiet home with a dog door to a yard. She does hang around her foster and even sleeps in her room but doesn't require a lot of attention given her past and would love a home where she could just be.

She is:
up to date on her shots
spayed
micro chipped
good with other dogs

Arwen has been waiting for a special home for a long time now. Please fill out an application and we would love to set up a meet.

More about this rescue

Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League (SNARL) exists to provide a better life for adoptable homeless, abandoned, or abused animals. We aim to assist in the effort of limiting the overpopulation of these animals as well as educate the public against breed or size discrimination. There is no such thing as a “bad breed”, only bad humans. Our mission is to make sure all of the animals we rescue are placed in loving, safe, and viable fur-ever homes.
