Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Meet Uno! A Feline Friend with Character and a Story **
Uno didn't get his name by chance. As a kitten, he came into our care with an infected eye that we feared he might lose. Thanks to the hard work of our devoted vet, his eye was saved! While there's a tiny scar/ulcer remaining, it doesn't cause him any discomfort or issues. It's hard to spot, but when you do, you'll see it merely adds to his unique charm.
What to expect with Uno:
1. **Purr-sonality**: He's a blend of independence and cheekiness. At times, he'll be your affectionate shadow and at others, he'll prefer his solo moments.
2. **Feline Friends**: Uno would flourish best alongside non-alpha female cats. He likes being the center of attention, but isn't one for confrontations.
3. **Canine Cohabitants**: Got a dog? Just ensure they aren't the cat-chasing kind. Uno prefers to keep his distance from the dogs.
4. **Play & Leisure**: He's got a zest for chasing lasers and feathers, but equally enjoys his sunbathing sessions by the window.
5. **Health & Habits**: Uno is litter-box trained and has a little extra fluff due to his undeniable love for wet food.
If you're looking for a cat with a backstory, resilience, and a dash of mystery, Uno is your guy. In adopting him, you're not only gaining a pet but a companion with a tale of triumph. Let's find him the forever home he deserves!

More about this rescue
Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League (SNARL) exists to provide a better life for adoptable homeless, abandoned, or abused animals. We aim to assist in the effort of limiting the overpopulation of these animals as well as educate the public against breed or size discrimination. There is no such thing as a “bad breed”, only bad humans. Our mission is to make sure all of the animals we rescue are placed in loving, safe, and viable fur-ever homes.
