My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little miss mama Maxie is still looking for her new forever home. Unfortunately, she was returned to us due to fear aggression issues and lack of funding for training. She is now in foster and is flourishing.

When she was adopted Maxie had shown to be perfect 98% of the time, but the remaining 2% with fear aggression was alarming for them. She gets along well with adults and was previously exposed to kids and other animals while in her initial foster home with us, particularly during her time with her puppies. However, her exposure to such situations has reduced since her adoption.

Maxie's time in foster care has shown that, with the right environment, she can truly thrive and become an even more wonderful companion. Let's find her the loving forever home she deserves, where she can feel safe and cherished once again.

More about this rescue

Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League (SNARL) exists to provide a better life for adoptable homeless, abandoned, or abused animals. We aim to assist in the effort of limiting the overpopulation of these animals as well as educate the public against breed or size discrimination. There is no such thing as a “bad breed”, only bad humans. Our mission is to make sure all of the animals we rescue are placed in loving, safe, and viable fur-ever homes.
