My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you love wiggle-butts? If yes, then Berkley is your girl!

She is sweet, playful, and happy…and of course, her tail won't stop wiggling.
Berkley loves all dogs.
She is scared to death of cats. LOL
She comes when called.
She sits for her foster to put her halter on.
Walks pretty well on a leash.
She is working on housebreaking but knows how to use pee pads.

Berkley is one of 9 puppies born on August 23, 2023 to Dezzy, who already has found her forever home. Dezzy is a Catahoula/Cattle mix weighing about 80 lbs.
Berkley's weight was 59 lbs. as of April 2024.

She is currently being fostered in Texas and is fully vaccinated and spayed. She will be microchipped and transported to the tri-state area upon adoption..

More about this rescue

Friends for Life Animal Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, volunteer-run, foster-based Rescue (no facility).

Our focus is to save the lives of dogs and puppies in high-kill shelters in the south and local owner surrenders.

Our mission is to place unwanted and in-danger animals in homes, regardless of age or breed. To educate the public and help stop animal cruelty and neglect.

We don't discriminate against potential adopters on any basis or for any reason. We approve potential adopters if they are and the animal they applied for is a good fit.

Extra Info.-
*If a dog is listed on Adopt a Pet, they are still available, and we accept applications. We approve applications on the best fit for both dog and family.
*We take our best guess on breed and size when fully grown.
* Our dogs are adopted from their foster home or straight from transport from kill shelters in the south.
*We always need foster homes so we can continue to save dogs. Don't hesitate to contact us if you are interested in fostering. Or fill out the foster application using this link - https://form.jotform.com/210257395409155
