Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Otis is a 6 year old (4/2/17) male bluetick coonhound. He came to us after first being struck by a car, suffering a broken leg. He has since healed. He coexists fine with other dogs and cats, buy is quite happy to be the only boy to love. Typical of his breed, Otis is very food motivated! Breed experience would be ideal for this big guy. He is NOT a hunting dog, nor will he be adopted to be used as such - he doesn't have the drive, very much a couch potato.
Otis' adoption fee is $200.00 which includes his neuter, vaccines including DHLPPC, Kennel Cough, Rabies, and Lyme and heartworm/lyme testing (negative), Microchipping with lifetime registration. If you want to meet Otis with hopes to make him part of your family, be sure to FIRST apply on our website for approval: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.html *100% of adoption fees go back to the animals and help provide for medical care for our rescues that need specialized medical care and surgeries. *Note: Ideally, ALL members of the family (canine and human alike) should be present for any meet and greet unless otherwise specified/discussed. Please remember that we are a board of entirely volunteers that have full time jobs as well as our rescue passion.
