• ADOPTION APPLICATION. We are unable to respond to inquiries that do not have a completed adoption application attached, which can be found at www.twistedbranchaussies.com
• A fully fenced yard. 6’ fence is required in most situations.
• Information on your current and former pets, and a veterinarian reference.
• The time, ability, and resources to care for your adopted dog on a day to day basis, and procedures in place for when you will be away.
If you don’t receive a response on your completed application within 48 hours, check your Spam folder.

Sweet, loving CALLIE! Callie is a 3 year old Australian Shepherd with a cute little bobbed tail and a beautiful face. Callie initially spent a lot of time running stray, and then was adopted by a family who wasn’t familiar with the Aussie shedding (we call them Fibers of Love here) and returned her just a few short months later. That’s when we found Callie and brought her to TBAR and found out just how wonderful she is! Callie has made friends with every dog she has met here, and loves to play and romp, and once she finds a dog willing to play with her, she will play until she drops. But once she’s gotten her exercise, she is content to lay in the floor near her people. Callie seems to be housetrained, although that may need to be reinforced for a bit when she goes to her new home. She slept in a crate overnight without issue, no accidents, and went outside this morning to use the bathroom and do some running and playing. Callie is a little picky about treats—maybe nobody ever gave her treats before?—but once you find the one she likes, she will be happy to show you how pretty she can Sit for you. Although we do not have children here, Callie is said to be good with kids. Callie also met our outdoor cat, who loves to initiate new dogs, and walked right past the cat with no response at all. She loves to ride in the car, and will jump right in for you. She’s an all-around good girl!
Callie is already spayed, has been fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She has been started on heartworm and flea preventatives, and has a grooming appointment scheduled to bring out her full beauty. Callie is available for a $350 adoption fee, and an adoption application is required.
