Marmie is a Black and Tan Coonhound/Labrador Retriever Mix. She is Black and Tan. Marmie is 3 Years Old. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She weighs around 67 lbs.
Marmie is the perfect dog for any household. She was found wandering the streets in a rural town when a high kill pound picked her up. Everyone who meets Marmie just falls in love. Marmie was in a different home but was returned because the other dog in the household did not like Marmie in his household. Her former owners did say that Marmie is the perfect dog. Marmie just enjoys being around her family. She is currently hanging out with another rescue dog named Sam. Marmie has two favorite things in her life, a soft couch she can snuggle up on and her foster family who she can love and have them love her back. Marmie loves to lounge around and watch movies with friends, human and furry alike. When Marmie is outside she loves to run and play with her friends. She is so great with everyone that on walks Marmie loves to talk to everyone she can. Marmie would love a home where she can relax and just be apart of a loving family. Marmie is a very sweet girl who would fit into anyone's family, now Marmie is just waiting for that family to make her apart of their family!
Marmie would do well in any household. She gets along with everyone she meets! She has met and loved all adults, children, dogs and cats. Marmie is completely housetrained and is crate trained but is never in one since she doesn't need to be. She doesn't chew and can be trusted to be left alone without getting into anything. She loves to go for car rides and wags her tail when she see's she's about to go for one. Once in the car Marmie will either sit by your side and if there isn't room she'll go in the back and lay down for the trip. Marmie is a bit of a puller on the leash but with a harness she walks very well. Marmie also jumps a little when she is very excited to see you but does listen when you say down, with a little more training jumping won't be an issue at all. Marmie loves all other animals and is wonderful with children which makes her an excellent addition to any household.
Marmie is not aggressive with other dogs, he has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors.
There is a $100 Adoption Fee for all dogs. Which includes the Spay/Neuter, Parvo/Distemper Combo Shot, Rabies Shot, Worming, Heartworm Tested Negative if over 6 months and Flea/Tick Prevention.
