Meet Corduroy! (Children's Book babies)
Courduroy and his siblings (Clifford, Paddington, and Thumbelina) came to us from an overcrowded city shelter when they were just 10 days old. Waiting for an incubator, these babies were in desperate need of warmth and an experienced bottle feeder.
Corduroy has a striking black and gray tabby coat and gorgeous warm gray eyes! He is one of the most affectionate boys that we've had the pleasure of fostering and he will surely make any family fall in love with him (as we have)!
Corduroy is insanely affectionate and friendly. This social butterfly will be a BFF with you AND your BFFs, so if you're looking for a cat that will hide when your friends arrive, then do NOT adopt Corduroy! In fact, expect this lap cat to lay on you and your friends, proving that if you have a lap, then you have a lifelong friend in Corduroy.
This ultimate cuddle companion will snuggle up to you whenever he can. Corduroy loves to nuzzle into your face and neck, and kiss you gently while he snuggles into you to show how much he loves you. And, as the colder months approach, you can even use Corduroy as a foot, leg, or neck cozy (LOL) - while he lulls you to sleep with his non-stop purring!
With a coat as dapper as Corduroy's, he's always dressed for a playful adventure that will keep you entertained. This active little boy loves to tackle his littermates and “hunt” for prey! Although he can be a bit of an alpha male during his “hunt”, he is really a gentle soul! Corduroy loves to stroke your face with his soft paws to get your attention. This feline LOVES human contact and enjoys being held in your arms like a baby. We actually think Corduroy believes he IS a baby! There is nothing aggressive about this boy - EVER!
Corduroy is no gourmet baby. This foodie will absolutely love ANY food that is dished up! In fact, he lives by the motto: "My food is mine, and so is yours." LOL
Corduroy is litter-trained, up-to-date with vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, and neutered. He is GREAT with children, other cats, and even dogs.
